Role Description
Acts
as a bridge
between HR and business teams
not just handling admin or paperwork, but helping managers make better
people-related decisions.
Understands
business objectives (sales, revenue, growth plans)
and helps build HR strategies (hiring, training, and retention) that align with
them.
Advises
leadership
on workforce planning, team
structure, performance management and employee engagement.
Supports managers in handling team challenges from motivation to discipline in a structured and professional way.
Key Responsibilities (HR Business
Partner – Growth & Network Development)
1. Employer Network Expansion
Build and maintain strong
connections with industry partners, organizations and hiring companies to
create placement opportunities for students and collaboration opportunities for
the company.
2. Student Placement Support
Coordinate and manage placement
activities for students after course completion by connecting with potential
employers and industry leaders.
3. Business Growth & Collaboration
Identify and develop
partnerships, tie-ups, and corporate relationships to enhance the company’s
visibility and market presence.
4. Strategic Planning & Implementation
Work closely with management to
design HR and business strategies that support organizational goals and
long-term growth.
5. Talent Mapping & Workforce Development
Analyze talent needs, support
recruitment aligned with business objectives, and ensure the right people are
placed in the right roles.
6. Performance Tracking & Reporting
Monitor outcomes of HR
initiatives, placement success, and business collaborations and prepare regular
performance reports.
7. Brand & Culture Development
Strengthen the company’s
employer brand through outreach programs, career fairs, and institutional
tie-ups, promoting the company as a preferred employment and training partner.
Required Skills & Competencies
1. Business & Networking Skills
· Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with external organizations, employers and industry partners.
· Experience in corporate tie-ups, placement drives, or B2B collaborations.
· Confident in representing the company in meetings, seminars and corporate discussions.
· Understanding of market trends, recruitment needs
and employer expectations.
2. Strategic & Analytical Thinking
· Capable of aligning HR initiatives with business goals.
· Should be able to analyze performance data, placement outcomes and partnership ROI.
· Decision-making ability based
on insights and measurable results.
3. Communication & Presentation Skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication to interact with management, employers, and students.
· Skilled in presenting reports, proposals
and partnership ideas clearly
and persuasively.
4. HR Core Knowledge (Advanced Level)
· Sound understanding of talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement.
· Can handle HR policies, compliance, and workforce planning.
· Knows how to create and
maintain employee
databases, MoUs, and placement records.
5. Training & Placement Coordination
· Should have prior exposure to campus recruitment, placement drives, or student career support.
· Ability to match student skills with
employer requirements effectively.
6. Leadership & Team Handling
· Must be proactive in taking ownership beyond HR executive tasks.
· Ability to lead HR or placement teams, delegate work, and ensure delivery on deadlines.
7. Tech & CRM Proficiency
· Familiar with HRMS, CRM and MS Excel/Google Sheets for maintaining data and reports.
· Comfortable using LinkedIn, job portals, and networking platforms for outreach.
